Classification of Paints as Dangerous Goods

Most solvent-based paints are Class 3 flammable liquids, classified under UN1263 (Paint) or UN3066 (Paint Related Material). Water-based paints with less than 24% flammable solvent generally fall outside dangerous goods classification but must still be evaluated for each formulation.

Packing Group Determination
